Nikon’s Monarch Binoculars

In 2009 Nikon introduced two new binoculars to the market. One of the first things that users have loved is the dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating that allows the binoculars to stay in focus to the complete edges of the viewing area. The multilayer coatings on these binoculars allow the viewer to see a brighter display. The binoculars are both roof prism models and waterproof up to 3 feet for ten minutes. Both outstanding models feature hard rubber-armor construction which will keep the user’s hands from slipping when wet. Focusing on both models is easy because of the oversize focusing knob. Both models also feature the twist-and-lock eyecups.

The first model offers 8.5 magnification with a 110 meter field of view. The diameter of the front lens is 45 mm. The relative brightness is 28.1. The eye relief is 20.6 mm. The eye relief in this model is an outstanding choice for the eyeglass wearer.
The second model offers 10.5 magnification with a 110 meter field of view. Users will want to make sure that they have a very steady hand before buying this model. The eye relief is 16 mm which makes it harder for the eyeglass wearer than the other model. This model is also not as bright as the other model.

Nikon is an outstanding company and either of these models would be outstanding purchases. Users will want to try both models to see which one feels best in their hands. Buying binoculars is a lot about personal choice.
